Autoruns는 시스템이 시작될 때 함께 실행되는 각종 프로그램과 파일 등을 시작되는 항목에 \r\n따라 정리하여 보여주는 프로그램입니다.

시작 프로그램은 크게 윈도우가 로그온 될 때, 윈도우 쉘인 explorer.exe가 실행될 때, \r\n그리고 서비스 등으로 실행이 됩니다.

보다 세부적으로 보면 시작프로그램에 등록되어 실행이 되거나, 레지스트리 항목인 Run, RunOnce와 \r\n서비스로 실행되는 것으로 분류할 수 있습니다.

시작 프로그램은 여러 장소에 등록되어 실행이 될 수 있기 때문에 사용자가 이를 살펴보기는 힘든 \r\n면이 있습니다.

따라서 Autoruns를 이용하면 프로그램이나 DLL 파일, 드라이버가 윈도가 시작되는 어느 시점 \r\n또는 어느 곳으로부터 시작이 되는지를 살펴보는데 도움을 줍니다.

사직 프로그램 항목을 자세히 살펴볼 수 있도록 Jump to 기능을 이용한 \r\n레지스트리 보기로 레지스트리 편집기를 실행하여 선택한 아이템이 속한 레지스트리 항목을 바로 보여주는 기능,

구글에서 해당 항목을 검색할 수 있는 기능 등을 쉘 컨텍스트 메뉴에서 제공합니다.

Autoruns는 내 컴퓨터가 시작될 때 어떤 것들이 자동으로 시작되는지를 살펴보거나 이를 \r\n관리하고자 할 때 유용한 프로그램입니다.

--간단 사용법-

프로그램을 다운로드 받으신 후 압축 해제 하시면 아래와 같이 3개의 파일이 보이실 겁니다.

Autorunsc.exe 는 명령 프롬프트용이며 이 글에서는 Autoruns.exe를 이용하여 설명 드리겠습니다.

▶ 실행

최초 프로그램을 실행하면 조금 복잡해 보일 수도 있는 화려한(?) 창이 보입니다. 편의를 위해 만들어진 tool이니 두려워하실 필요는 없습니다!

Autoruns는 다양한 엔트리(entry)로 구성되어 있는데요. 각 엔트리가 보여주는 정보에는 어떤 것인지 알아보도록 하겠습니다~

Autoruns를 실행한 후 아래 화면을 보면 매우 많은 정보들이 확인 됩니다. 이들 정보들 중에는 윈도우와 관련된 정상적인 부분도 다수 포함되어있습니다.

정상적인 정보를 포함하여 확인해야 하는 상황이 아니라면 이들 정상 정보들을 제외한 나머지 부분만 볼 수 있도록 설정합니다. 그 설정 방법은 아래와 같습니다.

[ Options -> Hide Microsoft and Windows Entries 또는 Hide Windows Entries ] 항목 선택<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

선택하면 바로 적용되는 것이 아니기 때문에 새로 고침(F5)을 한번 꾹! 눌러주도록 합니다.

Everything에서도 각 항목에 대한 정보를 확인 할 수 있으나 되도록이면 각 세부 엔트리를 통해 각각의 정보를 확인 하는 것을 적극 권장합니다.

Introduction

This utility, which has the most comprehensive knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs are configured to run during system bootup or login, and shows you the entries in the order Windows processes them. These programs include ones in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other Registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell extensions, toolbars, browser helper objects, Winlogon notifications, auto-start services, and much more. Autoruns goes way beyond the MSConfig utility bundled with Windows Me and XP.

Autoruns' Hide Signed Microsoft Entries option helps you to zoom in on third-party auto-starting images that have been added to your system and it has support for looking at the auto-starting images configured for other accounts configured on a system. Also included in the download package is a command-line equivalent that can output in CSV format, Autorunsc.

You'll probably be surprised at how many executables are launched automatically!

Simply run Autoruns and it shows you the currently configured auto-start applications as well as the full list of Registry and file system locations available for auto-start configuration. Autostart locations displayed by Autoruns include logon entries, Explorer add-ons, Internet Explorer add-ons including Browser Helper Objects (BHOs), Appinit DLLs, image hijacks, boot execute images, Winlogon notification DLLs, Windows Services and Winsock Layered Service Providers. Switch tabs to view autostarts from different categories.

To view the properties of an executable configured to run automatically, select it and use the Properties menu item or toolbar button. If Process Explorer is running and there is an active process executing the selected executable then the Process Explorer menu item in the Entry menu will open the process properties dialog box for the process executing the selected image.

Navigate to the Registry or file system location displayed or the configuration of an auto-start item by selecting the item and using the Jump menu item or toolbar button.

To disable an auto-start entry uncheck its check box. To delete an auto-start configuration entry use the Delete menu item or toolbar button.

Select entries in the User menu to view auto-starting images for different user accounts.

Autorunsc Usage

Autorunsc is the command-line version of Autoruns. Its usage syntax is:

Usage: autorunsc [-x] [[-a] | [-b] [-c] [-d] [-e] [-g] [-h] [-i] [-k] [-l] [-m] [-o] [-p] [-r] [-s] [-v] [-w] [[-z <systemroot> <userprofile>] | [user]]]

-a	Show all entries.
-b	Boot execute.
-c	Print output as CSV.
-d	Appinit DLLs.
-e	Explorer addons.
-g	Sidebar gadgets (Vista and higher).
-h	Image hijacks.
-i	Internet Explorer addons.
-l	Logon startups (this is the default).
-m	Hide signed Microsoft entries.
-n	Winsock protocol and network providers.
-p	Printer monitor drivers.
-r	LSA providers.
-s	Autostart services and non-disabled drivers.
-t	Scheduled tasks.
-v	Verify digital signatures.
-w	Winlogon entries.
-x	Print output as XML.
-z	Specifies the offline Windows system to scan.
user	Specifies the name of the user account for which autorun items will be shown.
