!!! Please, stop reporting issues with video playback in Android Auto !!!
A media application for Android Auto is just a media browser service, that can play audio. It does not have any user interface. What you see on the car screen is a standard, built into Android Auto, Audio Player and it does not support video! You may install any media app from Google Play and you will see almost identical interface and no video!

Perfect. Could changes be made to make it have more finicky options? Sure, but why fix what ain't broken? Allows me to play the various .mp3 files I've collected over the years and transferred to each new phone. Has a timer, so I can have it play a library for ...40 minutes (or 2 hours; you choose the duration), and continues to play, even when I turn the screen 'off.' No ads. <<< How many apps are like that from the get-go? Easy to navigate, organize, use. Perfect.

So far, the best music app for both my phone that I've found! Unlike so many others I've tried, it found all my music. Also, playlists can be made with my songs from both internal memory as well as from my installed micro sd card. There is a steep learning curve, especially when creating playlists, but they are easy to manage once complete, and this app never has lost either my songs or my playlists. Very good app!

I wanted a player that would allow me to connect to my home NAS SMB share using a VPN to remotely play music from my music collection, and this is the only one that I have found that actually works. Now I can listen to anything from my entire music collection anywhere, including in my car.
