Hi all, this is the post dedicated to USB Webcam driver package working on many Synology NAS boxes

- your Synology NAS can work also as IP camera now using any UVC compatible USB webcam (integrated MJPG compression feature preferred); see http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/
- supports up to 2 USB webcams working at the same time for picture snapshots or video streaming
- works with the Surveillance Station on the same (or another) Synology NAS box

Read the !ReadMe.txt file from .zip file carefully before installation. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.  

Known issues:
2017-05/26 - discovered a bug affecting all packages that may not start if installed on other volume than volume1. Fixed in release 6.1-39. 

2018-08/22 - Please note USB_Webcam may stop working on some NAS boxes after DSM upgrade to DSM 6.2. Please let me know by PM which NAS type do you have if this is your case and wait for USB_Webcam relese update.
